Top Navigation and Maps Apps in Germany Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the performance of the top navigation and maps applications in Germany showed notable trends in downloads and active users, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Google Maps maintained a steady download rate throughout the quarter, peaking at around 60.8K downloads in early March. The app's weekly active users showed an upward trend, increasing from approximately 46.7M at the start of January to about 48.9M by the end of March.

Blitzer.de experienced significant growth in weekly revenue, rising from approximately $96.9K at the start of the quarter to around $145.8K by the end. Downloads followed a positive trajectory, with a peak of approximately 43.9K in the last week of March. Active users also saw an increase, reaching about 2.2M by the end of the quarter.

OOONO saw fluctuating download numbers, with a notable peak of about 64.9K downloads in late March. Active users for the app increased significantly, from approximately 830K at the start of the quarter to 1.1M by the end.

Google Earth maintained a stable download rate, with numbers hovering around 30K weekly. Active users saw an increase from approximately 877K at the beginning of January to about 973K in early March, before slightly declining towards the end of the quarter.

Finally, Waze Navigation & Live Traffic showed a gradual increase in downloads, peaking at about 33.3K in mid-March. The app's active users fluctuated throughout the quarter, ending with approximately 689K at the close of March.
